Terms & Conditions – Gulf Academy of Safety

This page outlines the terms and conditions that govern your course registration and constitute your binding agreement with Gulf Academy of Safety. All terms are governed by and interpreted by the laws of India, and any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Indian courts.

Course Fees & Payment Policy

At Gulf Academy of Safety, course fees are categorized into two components: Course Fees and Examination Fees.

  • Course Fees must be paid in full upon enrollment or within 30 days of admission.
  • Exam Fees are due before the exam registration deadline or certificate application submission.

Certificates and exam scheduling will only be processed after full payment clearance.

Important Notice: Gulf Academy of Safety strictly prohibits unethical practices, including any “pass guarantee” claims. All payments must be made to the official Gulf Academy of Safety bank account. We are not liable for payments made to unofficial or personal accounts.

If any staff member requests payment directly or guarantees exam success, please report immediately to ibrahim@gulfacademy.co for verification.

Payments must be made in advance. Course materials, including login credentials, will be provided only after payment confirmation. All listed fees are accurate at the time of publishing; however, we reserve the right to revise them at any time.

General Terms
  • Full payment is required before course commencement. Course materials and login access (if applicable) are granted only upon receipt of payment.
  • Gulf Academy of Safety reserves the right to modify or cancel course dates, delivery modes, venues, or instructors. In such cases, learners will be rescheduled to the next available session unless an alternative is requested.

Exam Bookings: Provisional registrations for exams are not accepted. Confirmation of exam bookings depends on payment receipt and learner eligibility as per NEBOSH guidelines. Visit www.nebosh.org.uk for eligibility details.

Exam fees may be revised, and updates will be communicated to learners accordingly.

Classroom-Based Training

While we strive to maintain optimal student-to-instructor ratios, final decisions regarding class size are made at the discretion of the Academy. One or more trainers may deliver the course based on scheduling practicality.

Course content is regularly reviewed and updated under our quality control procedures. Gulf Academy of Safety is not liable for content errors or omissions.

In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters or other disruptions), Gulf Academy will make every effort to resolve the issue professionally and promptly.

We reserve the right to change training venues and will notify learners via SMS, email, or phone.

Distance / E-Learning Courses

For NEBOSH eLearning courses, updated materials will be provided at the time of enrollment. Should syllabus updates occur, revised content will be shared free of charge. Learners will be notified via email or social media.

Tutor support is unlimited, but learners are expected to proactively reach out when needed, through email, phone, social media, or Skype. Each learner will be assigned a tutor with direct contact information.

Mock assessments and assignments are part of the curriculum and must be submitted for evaluation before sitting for official exams.

Invoices are generated upon receipt of a completed booking form. Course access (logins) is granted only after payment confirmation.

In-House Training (Client-Site)

For training conducted on client premises, the client must provide:

  • A spacious and appropriate training room
  • Refreshments and lunch (if applicable)
  • A working projector, flipchart, and pens
  • Basic facilities such as restrooms and handwashing stations
Free Training Retake Policy

Learners who fail any NEBOSH paper are eligible for free retraining, limited to the failed unit. However, they are responsible for the exam fee.

To qualify, learners must:
  1. Maintain 90% attendance (in-person or online),
  2. Attempt the mock exams conducted during training,
  3. Score a minimum of 50% in the mock test.
Cancellation & Refund Policy

To cancel or defer a booking, learners must email info@gulfacademy.co within 15 days of course registration.

  • An administration fee of INR 1500 will be charged for each deferral or cancellation.
  • Once exam registration is completed or course materials are dispatched, no refunds can be issued.
  • Any non-refundable payments related to NEBOSH are not subject to return. Refer to NEBOSH’s refund policy for more details.

Courses are intended for personal learning. If it is found that someone else has taken the course on your behalf, your registration will be terminated without refund.

For cancellations/deferrals made within 15 days of the course start, Gulf Academy reserves the right to recover costs such as British Council or exam fees already paid.

All EMI payments must be made on time. Late fees of 10% of the pending amount will be applied for overdue installments.

Examination Policy
  • All NEBOSH exams must be booked and paid for at least 4 weeks before the exam date.
  • Late bookings are accepted but may incur additional charges, especially for external exam venues.
  • Any late registration after the NEBOSH cut-off dates will involve late registration fees.

Venue changes are subject to the Academy’s discretion and will be communicated via SMS, email, or phone. Parking charges may apply at certain venues and are the responsibility of the delegate.

Learners requesting shipment of course materials or certificates outside India must bear the shipping/courier charges.
